Scent Breakdown
Precious Pink is clearly trying to emulate Marc Jacobs' Perfect Intense. Right off the bat, the sweet narcissus is there, backed by a creamy jasmine. I get that almond note in the mid, a touch powdery, which is nice. It's around 89% similar to Perfect Intense, but not a dead ringer. The sandalwood in the drydown is less refined than the original, a bit more synthetic, but still pleasant. It lacks the smooth, almost cashmere-like feel of the Marc Jacobs.
The Verdict
If you like Perfect Intense but can't justify the price tag, Precious Pink is a solid alternative. It captures the main DNA of the scent profile. It's perfect for everyday wear, a daytime office scent, or a casual weekend outing. If you demand ultra-high quality and natural ingredients, stick with the original. You'll be smelling pretty for pennies!
Projection Power
This isn't a beast mode fragrance. I get about 5-6 hours of noticeable wear, with the first hour having moderate projection. It sits closer to the skin after that. it's totally acceptable. Don't expect it to fill a room all day. It projects farther in warmer weather.
