Pur Oud by Maison Alhambra? Yeah, it’s oud. Three stages of it. The opening is surprisingly smooth, not barnyardy at all. More like polished wood, maybe with a *touch* of something vaguely medicinal, but fleeting. The heart sticks to that same lane. Clean, woody oud. It doesn’t evolve much, which is a slight letdown. The drydown… you guessed it, more oud.

Compared to the LV, this is maybe 85% there. The Louis Vuitton has a certain… refinement, a roundness, that’s missing here. There’s a slight synthetic edge that pops up now and again in the Maison Alhambra, especially if you *really* search for it.

Conclusion

Okay, look. If you want a straightforward, no-nonsense oud scent for daily wear, this is a winner. You get a very good approximation of the Louis Vuitton . Is the original better? Yes, marginally. Is it ten times better? Absolutely not. If you are an oud head, and you can't justify the LV price tag, buy this, and don't look back. It's a great daily driver.

Longevity & Projection

It lasts. I get a solid 6-7 hours, maybe pushing 8. Not beast mode projection, but it creates a nice scent bubble for the first few hours. Then it settles closer to the skin. Office-appropriate, easily.
