Rose Oud by Maison Alhambra tries to capture Dior's Oud Rosewood, and gets pretty darn close. The opening hits you with that sweet-tart raspberry and quince. It's not quite as polished as the Dior, leaning slightly more synthetic, but still pleasant. The heart introduces a woody, almost animalic accord. The sandalwood here is drier, less creamy than the original. Finally, the base settles into a recognizable oud and rosewood combo. It lacks the nuanced depth of the Dior. I'd say it's about 88% similar.

Is it Worth It?

If you're on a budget and want to experience the Oud Rosewood vibe without breaking the bank, this is a solid option. It's a good daily driver for cooler weather, or evenings. The slight synthetic edge is noticeable up close, but it doesn't ruin the experience. This gets you close enough .

How Long Does it Last?

Performance is decent, especially . I get about 6-7 hours of wear with moderate projection for the first couple of hours. It sits closer to the skin after that. Don't expect beast mode; it's a respectable, work-appropriate fragrance.
