The Scent Profile

Sceptre Oceana opens with a sweet vanilla blast, not quite as refined as the Bvlgari Orom it's trying to mimic. There's a slightly synthetic edge in the opening that smooths out after 15 minutes. The benzoin heart is present, adding a resinous warmth, but the agarwood base is dialed back considerably. Where Orom has a potent, smoky oud, this leans more subtle, bordering on a woody amber. It's maybe 87% similar overall. The biggest difference is the quality of the ingredients; this is a touch rougher around the edges.

How Long Does it Last?

This is a solid performer, especially . Expect around 6-7 hours on skin, with moderate projection for the first two. It projects about an arm's length. It becomes a skin scent after about 3 hours, but sticks around. Not bad at all. If you love the idea of a vanilla-benzoin-oud combo but can't justify the designer price tag, this is a no-brainer. It’s a perfect daily driver for cooler weather. This gets you close enough . Buy it if you want a classy, sweet, and slightly woody scent for everyday wear.
