To Buy or Not to Buy?
This is a fragrance suited for youthful, informal settings where subtlety isn't a priority. Think casual dates, or hanging out with friends. It tries for something sophisticated, but lands firmly in the realm of simply "sweet." Its overt sugary quality makes it better suited for cooler weather, where it won't become cloying.
First Impressions & Dry Down
Your Touch blasts out of the gate with an initial sweetness that's reminiscent of cherry cough syrup mixed with a harsh, peppery alcohol. The violet is barely present, mostly overwhelmed by the synthetic juniper. As it settles, a burnt sugar note emerges, trying to mimic the toffee but falling short with a plasticky, artificial character. The cinnamon is muted and the sage gets lost in the sweet amber cloud. The drydown leans heavily into tonka bean and vanilla, which creates a cozy but ultimately unremarkable sweetness, lacking the depth of the original.
How Long Does it Last?
Longevity on my skin is decent, around 5-6 hours. Projection is moderate, extending about an arm's length for the first hour, then quickly fading closer to the skin. I tested it at work and during a casual evening out.
