Pink pepper is there, providing a fleeting spiciness, but it's muddled by a general chemical tang. The heart introduces a dusty incense; more grey ash than fragrant smoke. The tobacco presents as dried-out pipe tobacco, faintly sweet, but lacking richness. The saffron is minimal, just a hint of metallic bitterness. The base attempts oud, but falls flat, resembling band-aid adhesive instead. The leather is a vague, synthetic suede, while the amber is sticky and cloying. Compared to what it emulates, it lacks the smoother transitions, nuance, and quality materials of the inspiration. It smells like a simplified, slightly harsher interpretation, missing the refined depth.

Citrus Water is suited for casual daytime wear where a strong statement isn't required.
