If you're curious about Ganymede but don't want to drop serious cash, Galilean is a no-brainer. It's a great daily driver for the office, or for casual wear. It's unique enough to stand out without being polarizing. the quality is really impressive. Galilean captures the essence of Ganymede remarkably well. Buy this if you want to smell interesting and modern without breaking the bank.

Scent Breakdown

Galilean opens bright, a juicy mandarin touched with a spicy saffron. It's not quite as photorealistic orange as Ganymede; there's a slight synthetic edge, especially at first. But it's *close*. The violet and osmanthus in the heart bring a touch of floral sweetness that keeps it interesting. The drydown is where Galilean shines, though. That woody, mineralic accord really comes through. It's less harsh leather than the original, maybe 95% there, but very pleasant. This is where the "mineral" notes really start to shine.

Longevity & Projection

Longevity is solid. I get about 6-7 hours on my skin with moderate projection for the first two. It's not a beast mode fragrance by any means, but it's definitely noticeable. It projects a little less than Ganymede.
