As it settles, the suede emerges, soft and inviting, alongside a creamy sandalwood. This is where it comes closest to BDK's creation, achieving perhaps 95% of the same vibe. The drydown leans heavily into a comforting blend of cashmeran and vanilla, with the white musk adding a clean finish. There's a slight synthetic edge here, especially in the base, which is a notable deviation from the smoother, more refined Crème de Cuir.
