The apple is more prominent here, lending a sweeter, less smoky vibe than Creed's masterpiece. The heart aims for that birch-tar smokiness, but lands with a slightly synthetic, almost plastic-like accord. Jasmine and patchouli attempt to add depth but are overshadowed. The drydown leans heavily on a musky vanilla, smoothing out the rough edges. Missing is the refined ambergris of Aventus, replaced by a more generic sweetness.

Longevity is surprisingly decent . Expect 6-7 hours on skin with moderate projection for the first 2 hours. It projects less powerfully than Aventus. After those two hours, it settles into a skin scent, a light veil of pineapple and vanilla musk.
