Bottom Line
Fannan Wardi is a solid option if you like La Vie Est Belle and don’t want to spend a fortune. It's great for everyday wear – running errands, casual dates, or just a little something to make you feel good. It might be a bit too sweet for the office in close quarters. If you demand ultra-high quality ingredients and the nuanced complexity of the original, stick with Lancome. This is a great daily driver to save your expensive bottle.
First Impressions & Dry Down
Fannan Wardi is a pretty straightforward take on La Vie Est Belle. The opening hits you with that familiar black currant and pear sweetness, maybe a touch sharper and less rounded than the Lancome original. In the heart, the iris and jasmine are present, but slightly dialed back. The orange blossom tries to peek through but gets a little lost in the sugary mix. It's the drydown where this leans closest to LVEB, with that praline and vanilla combo dominating. The patchouli is there, providing a subtle grounding effect, but it's definitely playing backup. I’d say it captures about 91% of the original's DNA.
Performance Reality Check
This isn’t a beast mode fragrance. It projects moderately for the first hour or two, leaving a pleasant scent trail. After that, it settles closer to the skin. I get about 5-6 hours of noticeable wear, which is decent . Don't expect all-day performance.
