Xclusif Oud Rouge nails the Baccarat Rouge vibe. Think sugared saffron and airy jasmine at first. It's not quite as refined as MFK's creation; you catch a *slight* synthetic edge, especially in the opening. The heart brings forward that signature amberwood sweetness, almost like burnt sugar, with a hint of something marine-like from the ambergris accord. The drydown is where it differs most. Orientica's adds a noticeable fir resin and cedar, grounding the sweetness, making it a touch woodier than the original. Overall, I'd say it's about 90% similar.

This stuff performs. Seriously. I get a solid 8+ hours on skin, and it projects moderately well for the first 3-4 hours. It leaves a scent trail, without being obnoxious. Two sprays are plenty for most situations. Any more and you risk being *that* person.
