Apple Pie by Rogue Perfumery tries its best to capture the boozy apple pie vibe of Kilian's Apple Brandy on the Rocks, and gets pretty close. The opening has a nice cardamom and bergamot pop, almost identical. That spiced apple comes in quick, but the boozy rum/brandy element is lighter than the Kilian. It’s less "expensive cognac" and more "apple cider spiked with rum extract." The drydown leans heavier on the ambroxan than the cedar, giving it a slightly synthetic edge, something the original deftly avoids. I’d say it's about 89% similar overall.

To Buy or Not to Buy?

If you love the idea of Apple Brandy on the Rocks but can't stomach the Kilian price tag, this is a solid alternative. It's definitely got some synthetic nuances, especially in the base, but you get a damn good approximation. Wear this casually – date nights, fall gatherings, cozy weekends. This hits the spot for the daily grind.

The Performance Stats

This isn't a powerhouse, but it does the job. I get about 5-6 hours of noticeable projection before it sits close to the skin as a cozy apple scent. Projection is moderate; it won’t fill a room, but people nearby will definitely smell you. Not bad .
