The Scent Profile
Z33 kicks off with a noticeable saffron note, but it's a bit sharper and less rounded than the Bond No. 9 B9. The gardenia is there, adding a floral sweetness, but it's a touch synthetic in the opening. As it settles, the amber and jasmine come forward, creating a warm, inviting heart. I'm not getting much orchid here. The base is a fairly standard musk, sandalwood, and oakmoss blend. It’s about 85% close to B9, but that original has a smoothness this misses. The biggest difference is the slightly harsher, more synthetic opening in Z33.
Is it Worth It?
Z33 is a solid choice if you like the general vibe of Bond No. 9 B9, but can't justify the price tag. It's a great everyday scent – office-friendly and inoffensive. If you're sensitive to synthetic notes, sample first. But honestly, for the money, it's hard to beat. For the average user, Z33 gets you pretty darn close.
Projection Power
This is a decent performer . I get about 5-6 hours on my skin with moderate projection for the first hour or two. It then settles into a skin scent. It projects enough to be noticed, but not a room filler. Not bad at all for a clone.
