To Buy or Not to Buy?
10.0 isn't bad if you are aware of the compromises. It scratches that Aqva itch on a budget. But it's a budget scent. The synthetic edge is undeniable.
The Scent Profile
Zara's 10.0 is clearly aiming for Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme. The opening hits a similar bright, citrusy accord with mandarin and orange, but lacks the original's natural zest. It's a tad sharper, more synthetic right off the bat. The seaweed and lavender heart are present, delivering that marine-aquatic feel, but it's less nuanced, less salty than the Bvlgari. The drydown features cedar and a general "woody notes" accord. It becomes a skin scent fairly quickly. I'd say it captures about 85% of Aqva's vibe.
How Long Does it Last?
Longevity? Don't expect miracles. I get maybe 3-4 hours on my skin. Projection is moderate for the first hour, then it shrinks to a close bubble. Reapplication is a must if you want it to last through the day. Fine for a quick errand, not a date.
