The Scent Profile
Amber is Great opens with a blast of juicy citrus – orange peel and lemon zest mostly. It's bright, maybe a touch *too* bright, leaning slightly synthetic compared to Erba Pura's smoother, more natural fruitiness. That initial sharpness mellows quickly, giving way to a sweet peach and pear accord. The jasmine is barely there, which is fine. This clone nails about 88% of the original's DNA. The base is where it differs most; the vanilla and musk are amped up, making it sweeter and less complex than Erba Pura's ambery dry down.
Is it Worth It?
It's not a 1:1 copy, missing some of the original's nuances and sophistication, but the overall vibe is there. the performance is insane. If you want to smell fruity and powerful without breaking the bank, pull the trigger. Is Xerjoff's version ten times better? Debatable. For everyday wear, this does the job just fine.
How Long Does it Last?
This stuff lasts. Seriously. I got a solid 8+ hours on skin, easily projecting for the first 3-4. On clothing? It's still there the next day. Be warned, though, that initial projection is *loud*. Spray with caution, especially in close quarters. Two sprays are plenty.
