To Buy or Not to Buy?
It captures the essence of the original . Yes, Delina is higher quality, but is it ten times better? Absolutely not. If you want that signature rose-lychee combo for daily wear, grab Hawwa. It's a crowd-pleaser, perfect for daytime dates or adding a touch of femininity to your everyday. A safe blind buy if you're already a Delina fan.
Scent Breakdown
Hawwa is Zimaya's take on Delina, and it’s pretty darn close, maybe 90%. That initial blast of tart rhubarb and sweet lychee is instantly recognizable. The bergamot is there, adding a touch of brightness. The heart moves into that powdery, romantic rose and peony mix. It's good, though I detect a slight synthetic edge in the rose compared to Delina's smoother floral bouquet. The vanilla is toned down here. The drydown is a comfy musk and cashmeran hug, with a hint of vetiver keeping it from being too sweet. The main difference? Delina is airier, more refined. Hawwa has a bit more weight, a touch denser.
Longevity & Projection
Longevity is solid. I get a good 6-7 hours on skin, more on clothes. Projection is moderate. You'll create a nice scent bubble around you for the first few hours, then it settles closer to the skin. It's office-appropriate once it mellows out.
