The drydown is where the divergence from Xerjoff becomes most apparent. Rabab features a noticeably synthetic musk and vanilla base. The amber attempts to provide warmth, but the overall effect lacks the smooth, luxurious quality of the original. It's about 87% similar to Erba Pura in the opening, but the drydown exposes its cloned nature.

Bottom Line

Rabab by Zimaya is a respectable Erba Pura approximation. The opening is convincing, and the performance is commendable. While the synthetic musk in the base is undeniable, it’s not a deal-breaker . If you crave the Erba Pura DNA but can't justify the cost, Rabab is a viable alternative. If money is no object, the original offers superior refinement. But, for the budget-conscious, this clone delivers substantial value.

This is a beast. Rabab boasts impressive longevity. Expect 8-10 hours on skin, easily projecting for the first 3-4 hours. A moderate application is advised unless you desire significant sillage. Two sprays will fill a room; more than that and you risk olfactory fatigue (your own and others').
