Scent Breakdown
Taraf White opens with a blast of rhubarb and lychee. It tries hard to mimic Delina’s tart sweetness, but the bergamot here is sharper, less rounded. It's a good attempt, though. The heart is where the differences become clearer. The Turkish rose is present, but noticeably less refined. The peony is fainter. The vanilla tries to compensate, adding a sweet creaminess. The drydown offers a familiar musk and cashmeran base, similar to Delina. However, the vetiver is subdued. I'd say it captures about 90% of the Delina essence, but with a synthetic edge in the rose and the opening citrus.
The Verdict
If you crave the Delina DNA but balk at the price tag, Taraf White is a solid option. It's not a perfect dupe. It lacks the sophistication and high-quality ingredients of the original. But it provides a similar experience. But if you value smoother blending and top-tier ingredients, then the original may be justifiable. Taraf White is for those who want the vibe without emptying their wallets. A great budget option for those who are price conscious.
Wear time & Sillage
Longevity is surprisingly decent . Expect about 5-6 hours on skin, pushing to 8 on clothing. Projection is moderate for the first hour, then settles closer to the skin. It won't fill a room, but you'll get nice whiffs throughout the day. Not bad for a clone.
