How it Smells
Royale Amethyst goes for Atomic Rose's big, bold rose, and gets pretty close. The opening is a blast of pink pepper and a citrusy bergamot – it's brighter than Atomic Rose, a little sharper. The heart is where the rose party really starts. You get that jammy, slightly sweet Bulgarian rose, but it's got a bit of a synthetic edge here, noticeable if you’re familiar with Atomic Rose. The jasmine is dialed back, thankfully. Drydown brings a vanilla amber base that’s comforting, but not as refined as Initio’s. I'd say it captures about 90% of the Atomic Rose vibe.
Is it Worth It?
The synthetic rose is noticeable, but it's not a dealbreaker. It’s a good daily wear option for rose lovers, especially during cooler months. But if you just want that big, rosy profile without breaking the bank, give this a shot. Perfect for date night or a casual evening out.
The Performance Stats
Longevity is decent. I get about 6-7 hours on my skin with moderate projection for the first couple of hours. It settles into a skin scent after that. Not beast mode, but respectable point. It projects less intensely than Atomic Rose.
