You Are My Fire by Zoghbi is aiming squarely at God of Fire, and it gets pretty close. The opening blast of rum and cedar is immediately familiar, though a bit rougher around the edges. Think God of Fire's charming older cousin who smokes unfiltered cigarettes. The tobacco note is dialed up a touch more, giving it a slightly drier feel initially. As it settles, the clove and cinnamon come forward, and the chocolate note appears but doesn't dominate. The biggest difference? The mango in God of Fire is MIA here. The base is a standard vanilla-patchouli-woody blend. I'd put it at around 92% similar.

The Verdict

Yes, it has a few synthetic edges, and yes, the mango is missing. However, difference, it’s a very wearable and enjoyable fragrance. Ideal for fall and winter evenings, or even a dressed-up date night. This scratches the itch nicely.

How Long Does it Last?

This one's a solid performer . I get around 6-7 hours on my skin with moderate projection for the first two. It projects a decent arms-length. Definitely noticeable without being obnoxious. Don't expect all-day performance, but it's respectable.
