9AM by Afnan presents a recognizable interpretation of the My Way DNA. The initial blast is dominated by orange blossom, brightened with bergamot. It aims for effervescence but suffers from a slight chemical tang not present in the original. The heart leans heavily on tuberose, which is present, but lacks the creamy smoothness found in Armani's version. A noticeable synthetic jasmine accord emerges, diverging further. The dry down settles into a sweet vanilla musk. The cedar note is barely perceptible. Overall, it achieves roughly 92% similarity to My Way. The crucial difference lies in the ingredient quality.

How Long Does it Last?

Longevity is moderate. Expect around 5-6 hours on skin. Projection is decent for the first hour, creating a pleasant scent bubble. After that, it becomes a skin scent. Expect about half of My Way's performance on both metrics. However, be aware of its limitations. The synthetic quality is apparent upon closer inspection. If you want the depth and refinement of the original, splurge. If you want a "good enough" floral that's easy on the wallet and won't break your heart when you overspray, 9AM is a solid choice.
