How it Smells

Fragrance World's "Another 13" attempts Le Labo's minimalist masterpiece, and it gets respectably close. The opening is a crisp pear with a hint of something vaguely citrusy and apple-like. It's not photorealistic pear, but it's pleasant. The heart leans heavily into that signature ambrette seed musk with a noticeable mossy undertone. Where it differs from the original is in the Iso E Super. It's present, creating that woody-amber backbone, but it's a touch harsher, a bit more synthetic than Le Labo's smoother rendition. The drydown is primarily Cetalox and Helvetolide. Overall, I'd say it captures about 82% of the original's DNA.

Projection Power

Longevity is decent. I get about 6-7 hours on skin. Projection is moderate for the first hour, then it settles into a skin scent. It's not a room filler, but it will create a subtle aura. Expect moderate performance, suitable for office wear.

Is it Worth It?

If you crave the clean, almost sterile, musk of Another 13 but can't stomach the Le Labo price tag, this is a solid alternative. It's not identical, the synthetic edge is noticeable if you compare side-by-side, but it's a winner. But for a daily driver that captures the essence, this clone is more than adequate. Grab it if you want to smell clean, professional, and understated without breaking the bank.
