Jasmine is a whisper, thankfully not indolic, while the cistus incanus brings a resinous, amber-like sweetness that battles with the juicy fruit. The base is where it falters; the oakmoss is present but muted, the balsam fir lends a medicinal, almost mentholated edge and the cypress smells starkly synthetic, akin to cheap bathroom cleaner. It lacks the sophisticated blending and depth of the inspiration, presenting as somewhat muddled and disjointed.
