Fragrance World’s Atomic Rose is a solid offering. If you crave the Atomic Rose experience but balk at the Initio price tag, this is a worthwhile substitute. It delivers a convincing rose-centric fragrance with a touch of spice and warmth. If ultimate realism and high-end materials are paramount, then perhaps. But for the average consumer, this clone provides excellent value. Buy it if you love rose fragrances and want an affordable option.

How it Smells

Fragrance World's Atomic Rose opens with a prominent pink pepper, immediately noticeable. Bergamot is present, adding a slight citrus lift, but the hedione feels somewhat muted compared to Initio's original. The rose accord blooms quickly; a blend of Bulgarian and Turkish rose emerges. It's reasonably faithful to the inspiration, though a touch less photorealistic. The jasmine is dialed back, acting more as support than a distinct element. The base of vanilla and amber provides warmth, but a slightly synthetic edge is apparent, especially in the late drydown. I'd estimate it captures about 95% of the original's DNA. The main difference lies in the quality of raw materials; Initio's has a natural richness, which is slightly lacking here.

Projection Power

Longevity is respectable. I get around 6-7 hours on skin. Projection is moderate for the first two hours, creating a decent scent bubble. It then settles closer to the skin. Not beast mode, but certainly adequate.
