Our objective metric for performance per dollar.
First Impressions & Dry Down
Bavaria Man Intense opens with a burst of violet leaf and a citrusy zing. The lotus is present, but dialed back compared to the Bvlgari original. It aims for that clean, inoffensive vibe, but has a slightly sharper, more synthetic edge initially. The heart of vetiver and woods emerges quickly. The sandalwood is less creamy, more pencil-shaving here. As it dries down, the honey note becomes more prominent, adding a touch of sweetness balanced by musk. It lands about 82% close to Bvlgari Man. The differences are noticeable, but not deal-breakers.
Longevity & Projection
Longevity is decent. I get about 5-6 hours on my skin. Projection is moderate for the first hour, then it sits closer. It’s definitely office-safe. Don't expect beast mode performance with this one. It is not overpowering, nor is it a complete skin scent. It's a good work fragrance or everyday scent when you don't want to use the expensive stuff. it's hard to complain about the slightly synthetic feel. If you're on a budget and want something similar, grab this. You'll get compliments.
