Olfactory Experience
Bottled Elixir aims squarely for the Boss Bottled target, and hits respectably close – maybe 90%. The opening is a bright, slightly synthetic apple and lemon, a little sharper than the smoother, more natural apple in the original. The heart develops quickly, the cinnamon and mahogany coming forward. It's warm and inviting, but lacks some of the refinement of the Boss Bottled's mid. The dry down is where it differs most. The vanilla is more prominent, and the sandalwood feels a bit cheaper, less creamy. It's still pleasant, just not as sophisticated.
Projection Power
This stuff projects decently for the first hour, creating a nice scent bubble. After that, it settles closer to the skin. Longevity is average; I get about 5-6 hours before it becomes a faint skin scent. Definitely not a powerhouse, but respectable point. Reapplication might be necessary if you want it to last all day. If you enjoy the apple-cinnamon DNA and don’t want to shell out big bucks, this is a good grab. The synthetic opening and slightly less refined dry down are the trade-offs. For daily wear, especially in the office or casually, it works perfectly. Bottled Elixir gets you most of the way there . A safe blind buy for anyone who likes sweet, woody scents.
