The Scent Profile
Fresh as Citrus jumps right into a bright, herbal opening. You get that blast of greenery, almost like crushed leaves, mixed with a slightly sweet orange blossom. The thyme and mint are noticeable, giving it a fresh, almost soapy feel. It's aiming for Guerlain's Herbes Troublantes, and it gets pretty close – maybe 83% there. The original has a smoother, more refined citrus quality. Fresh as Citrus has a slight synthetic edge in the opening that the original lacks, but it fades quickly. The drydown is a soft musk, clean and pleasant.
Bottom Line
This is a solid daily driver if you like clean, fresh scents. It's a good alternative to Herbes Troublantes if you don't want to drop serious cash. The original is undoubtedly better, with higher quality ingredients, but If you're looking for a cheap and cheerful fragrance for the office or running errands, Fresh as Citrus is a winner. Grab it if you want a fresh, clean scent on a budget.
Wear time & Sillage
For a freshie, the performance is decent. I get about 5-6 hours on my skin, with moderate projection for the first hour or two. It settles into a skin scent after that, which is fine for a casual fragrance. Don't expect beast mode.
