Intense Addiction opens with a bright, almost candied apple blossom note. The orange blossom is there, but plays a supporting role. It's pretty, definitely feminine leaning. The heart of honey is where this diverges a bit from Addictive Vibration. Initio's version has this powdery, almost smoky feel in the mid. This one is sweeter, more straightforward honey. The drydown is a simple vanilla musk. It's pleasant, but lacks the depth and complexity of the original. I'd say it's about 88% similar, but that 88% is where the magic lives in the Initio.

The Performance Stats

Longevity is decent . I get about 5-6 hours on skin, and it projects moderately for the first hour or two. It's not a beast, but it's noticeable. On clothing, it'll stick around a bit longer, maybe 8 hours. Reapplication might be needed if you want it to last all day.

Bottom Line

Intense Addiction is a solid, sweet, and enjoyable fragrance. If you love the idea of Addictive Vibration but can't stomach the Initio price tag, this is a good alternative. It's office-friendly, date-night appropriate, and generally a safe blind buy for sweet fragrance lovers. This scratches the itch well enough. If you're not a hardcore fragrance snob, you'll be happy with this.
