The original is easily 5-10 times the price. For some, that jump in quality is worth it. For others, I'd recommend this to anyone curious about the Amouage DNA but not ready to commit to the luxury price tag.

Notes & Nuances

Myths by Fragrance World aims squarely for Amouage's Myths Man. The opening is close – you get that unusual, almost medicinal chrysanthemum note alongside the powdery orris. It's not quite as refined as the original; there's a slightly sharper, synthetic edge, especially early on. The heart brings in a boozy rum accord and earthy vetiver, similar to the original, but the quality difference is noticeable. The drydown features a smoky ash note with leather and labdanum, providing a masculine and slightly austere base. Overall, it captures about 90% of the original's DNA. However, some of the nuances of the original are lost in translation.
