Proud of You Absolute comes on strong with that boozy rum note right up front. It's similar to Stronger With You Absolutely, hitting about 95% of the mark in the opening. You get the sweet chestnut fairly quickly, blended with vanilla, which gives it a gourmand feel. The elemi and bergamot add a bit of a fresh touch, but they're playing second fiddle. The lavender in the heart is less pronounced here than in the original, which is where it slightly diverges. Overall, it's a sweet, slightly spicy, and warm scent. There's a slight synthetic edge detectable, especially if you're familiar with the real deal, but it's not overpowering.

Projection Power

This stuff sticks around. I get a solid 6-7 hours on my skin, which is pretty good. Projection is moderate for the first couple of hours; it creates a nice scent bubble. After that, it settles closer to the skin but still leaves a noticeable trail. You'll definitely get noticed. Is it a 1:1 clone? No. But it's close enough. If you don't want to spend a fortune, buy this. It's perfect for date night, cooler evenings, or any time you want a sweet and inviting fragrance. This stuff will work just fine.
