The rose accord arrives quickly, a trinity of varietals striving for authenticity but ultimately converging into a generalized "rose" impression. I detect a jammy sweetness, verging on overripe raspberry, a clear departure from the original's photorealistic rose bush portrayal. The drydown introduces a significant dose of patchouli, exhibiting a musty, damp earth quality. The tonka bean attempts to smooth the edges, offering a hint of vanilla, but struggles against the assertive patchouli, resulting in a slightly cloying, sugary conclusion.
