Scent Breakdown
Intoxicated by Rogue Perfumery nails the Kilian DNA pretty closely. I'd say it's 85-91% there. The opening cardamom is present, but slightly sharper, a bit less rounded than the original. The heart is where it shines – that delicious coffee and nutmeg combo is front and center. The drydown brings in the cinnamon and vanilla, creating a warm, gourmand feel. Where it differs slightly is in the overall smoothness; Kilian has a certain luxurious feel that this clone can't *quite* replicate. There’s a *hint* of synthetic edge, especially in the opening, but it fades quickly.
Projection Power
Longevity is surprisingly good. I get a solid 6-7 hours on skin, and it lasts even longer on clothes. Projection is moderate; it won't fill a room, but it creates a nice scent bubble. It projects for about an hour and a half, then sits closer to the skin. Not bad at all .
Final Thoughts
It's not a perfect 1:1, but it’s damn close. you get a very similar experience. This is perfect for fall/winter evenings or date nights. A great daily driver for gourmand lovers.
