The Scent Profile

Aromatic Future opens with a respectable Calabrian Bergamot, though slightly more acidic and less rounded than Dior's Sauvage. The pepper accord is immediately present, a noticeable blast. The heart pushes forward the Sichuan Pepper note, creating that signature tingling sensation; however, the lavender feels somewhat muted, lending a slightly sharper, less refined feel compared to the original. Ambroxan dominates the base, as expected, alongside a cedar note that presents as drier, almost pencil shaving-esque. Labdanum adds a touch of warmth, but it’s faint. Overall, it achieves roughly 85% similarity to Sauvage EDT. The differences lie mainly in the quality of ingredients.

Is it Worth It?

Aromatic Future provides a very decent impression of Sauvage without breaking the bank. The synthetic edges are noticeable upon close inspection, but in the air, it’s a passable substitute. If you enjoy the Sauvage DNA but are hesitant to spend the money or use it as an everyday, casual fragrance, this is a solid option. But if price is your main concern, Aromatic Future is a viable alternative.

How Long Does it Last?

Longevity is moderate. I got around 5 hours on skin with noticeable projection for the first hour. After that, it sits closer, becoming a skin scent by hour four. A generous application is advised for extended wear.
