First Impressions & Dry Down
Go Fruity opens with a blast of orange peel, maybe a touch sweeter than Terre d'Hermes. It's bright and juicy, but with a slightly synthetic edge – expected at this price. The pepper and geranium show up pretty quickly, giving it that familiar spicy, earthy backbone. Think dry rocks warmed by the sun. The vetiver and cedar in the base are decent but not as refined as the Hermès version. It's a solid 84% similar, maybe a bit heavier on the orange in the opening and lacking the smooth mineral quality of the original. The patchouli is barely detectable.
The Performance Stats
This isn't a beast mode fragrance. Expect about 4-5 hours of noticeable projection before it sits closer to the skin for another 2-3 hours. Perfect for the office or running errands. Don't overspray though – that synthetic note gets amplified. It's a no-brainer for everyday wear. But for a daily driver that captures the essence of Terre d'Hermes? This is a winner, especially for a younger guy just getting into fragrances.
