Is it Worth It?
If you love Imagination but can’t justify the price, Zara’s Les Heures Passent is a solid option. It captures the essence of the original well enough for everyday wear. Les Heures Passent is a great choice for a daily driver, especially for the warmer months. Grab it while you can.
How it Smells
Les Heures Passent nails the Imagination vibe, roughly 87% of the way there. The opening is bright – think fizzy lemon-ginger ale with a hint of bergamot, but not quite as naturally juicy as the LV. That black pepper in the mid is noticeable but dialed back. The tea note is also similar, a green tea. As it dries, the ambroxan-musk base provides a clean, slightly woody backbone. Where it differs from Imagination is in the quality of ingredients. Les Heures Passent has a slightly synthetic edge, particularly in the opening, which can smell a little “perfume-y” on initial spray.
Longevity & Projection
Longevity is moderate. I get around 5-6 hours on skin with decent projection for the first hour, then it settles closer. On clothing, it stretches to 7-8 hours. It is definitely office appropriate, but won't fill up a room.
