First Impressions & Dry Down
Zara's Man Uomo is a solid take on Paco Rabanne's 1 Million Elixir. It's got that sweet, fruity-floral thing going on right from the start, with apple and rose making a big entrance. The osmanthus adds a bit of apricot-like smoothness. The heart brings in a herbal sweetness from davana alongside the comforting tonka. The drydown leans heavily on vanilla and amber, creating a warm, sweet base.
Is it a dead ringer for Elixir? No, more like 80-86% similar. The Zara lacks some of the richer honey and boozy aspects of the OG. Man Uomo has a slightly sharper, more synthetic edge in the opening, especially compared to Elixir's smoother blend.
Projection Power
This one hangs around for a decent amount of time, maybe 5-6 hours on skin. Projection is moderate; it creates a nice scent bubble for the first hour or two, then settles closer to the skin. It's not a beast mode fragrance by any means, but sufficient for most situations.
Bottom Line
A great daily driver for the colder months. It's a safe, mass-appealing scent that works well for casual wear, date nights, or even the office if applied with a light hand.
