Sense of Glam opens with a predictable citrus blast. Blood orange and lemon are present, but lack the zest and naturalness of K by Dolce & Gabbana. A distinct juniper berry note attempts to replicate the original's aromatic opening. The heart features a trio of geranium, clary sage, and lavender. The geranium here is slightly sharper, less rounded than in K. The clary sage leans heavily synthetic. The dry down attempts to mimic the woody, earthy base with patchouli, vetiver, and cedarwood. The cedarwood is dominant, creating a pencil shaving effect. Compared to K, Sense of Glam captures approximately 88% of the overall scent profile. The key difference is the use of lower-quality aroma chemicals, which result in a less refined and more synthetic experience.

Longevity & Projection

Longevity is moderate. It lasts roughly 4 hours on my skin. Projection is weak to moderate for the first hour. After that, it quickly becomes a skin scent. Expect to reapply for all-day wear.

The Verdict

Sense of Glam is a decent budget alternative to K by Dolce & Gabbana. It's not a perfect clone, lacking the sophistication and depth of the original. The synthetic edges are noticeable. However, it's a passable option for those who enjoy the general scent profile. But if you need something easy on the wallet that captures the essence, this Zara clone will do in a pinch.
