The heart brings forth a sweet, almost medicinal incense accord mixed with dry, unlit pipe tobacco. There is a saffron note here, but it pulls plasticky. The drydown is where this diverges most noticeably from the original. The oud is present, but it's a thin, synthetic oud with a prominent Iso E Super woody amber note. The leather is vaguely there, more like a vinyl car seat than supple leather.

How Long Does it Last?

Longevity is moderate; I get around 5-6 hours on skin, with the projection being noticeable within arm's reach for the first hour, then settling closer to the skin. I wore it during a casual lunch outing and found it suitable, but it faded quickly in the summer heat.
