WO/01 Somewoody kicks off with a blast of spicy cinnamon and a noticeable rosewood note. It's trying for Alexandria II's grandeur, but it comes across a touch synthetic in the opening; a bit harsher. The lavender is there, but it's muted. The heart softens into a powdery rose and cedar, much like the Xerjoff, though less refined. The drydown is where it shines. A creamy sandalwood vanilla emerges, with a hint of oud. It's not barnyard oud; more of a smooth, slightly sweet woodiness. I'd say it captures around 75-95% of Alexandria II's DNA, but lacks the original's smoothness and depth.

To Buy or Not to Buy?

? Absolutely worth it. If you're curious about Alexandria II but hesitant to drop the big bucks, this is a fantastic entry point. It’s a versatile fragrance - office-friendly, date night appropriate. The synthetic opening might bother some, but it fades quickly. If you demand absolute perfection and have deep pockets, stick with Xerjoff. But for a daily driver that smells expensive without breaking the bank, WO/01 Somewoody is a winner.

Wear time & Sillage

It's a solid performer, especially . I get about 6-7 hours on my skin. Projection is moderate for the first hour or two, then it settles closer to the skin. Not a beast, but noticeable. Definitely lasts longer on clothes.
